Job Description
As a Security Officer - Corporate Patrol Driverin San Diego CA you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate and more. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer in a commercial real estate location where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas perform routine driving and foot patrols maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents and deliver outstanding customer service and communication. What Youll Do:
- Provide customer service to tenants visitors and/or staff by carrying out site-specific procedures access-related protocols and when appropriate emergency response activities at a commercial real estate location.
- Respond to incidents disturbances and/or critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner documenting observations and reporting security-related concerns to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
- Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols throughout buildings parking areas common areas and perimeter locations to help to deter unwanted activity and identify maintenance lighting and/or property issues.
- Monitor entrances exits and high-traffic areas verify authorized access as directed by site policies and assist with visitor interactions directions and general tenant support.
- Complete routine reports incident documentation and pass-down communications while following post orders and supporting daily operations across the property.
Minimum Requirements:
- A valid drivers license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- Applicants must have at least 6 months of security-related experience.
- A guard card or license is preferred.
- Access control or badge experience is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
