RN Med-Surg Oncology
Position Type:Perm/Contingent
Shifts:
- Days (Rotating Weekends): 7:00 AM 7:00 PM
- Nights (Rotating Weekends): 7:00 PM 7:00 AM
Position Overview:We are seeking acompassionate and reliable Oncology RNto provide patient-centered care in a Med-Surg environment. This role requires clinical assessments autonomous treatment management and collaboration with an interdisciplinary team to ensure excellent patient outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collect comprehensive data relevant to the patients health and situation.
- Advocate for patients as part of the interdisciplinary care team.
- Analyze assessment data to determine diagnoses and patient care needs.
- Develop individualized patient care plans with expected outcomes.
- Ensure patient safety and effective use of time supplies and equipment.
- Educate patients and families regarding medications procedures and treatments.
Qualifications:
- Experience:1 year of recent acute care Med-Surg RN experience required.
- Licensure:Florida RN license or approved multistate (compact) RN license. Compact license holders have 60 days to obtain Florida licensure after relocation.
- Certifications:Current BLS required; ACLS preferred (required within 6 months of hire).
- Education:BSN preferred.
Nurse-to-Patient Ratio:1:5 1:6
