Job Summary
Job Description: Service Shuttle Driver
Department: Service
Reports To: Service Manager / Service Director
Position Summary: The Service Shuttle Driver is responsible for providing safe timely and professional transportation for Honda World service customers. This role ensures customers are transported to their homes workplaces or other nearby destinations while their vehicles are being serviced and returned to the dealership once their service is complete. The Shuttle Driver plays an important role in delivering a positive customer experience and representing Honda World with professionalism and courtesy.
Key Responsibilities
Safely transport service customers to and from their home office or other local destinations while their vehicle is being serviced.
Pick up customers and return them to Honda World once their vehicle service is complete.
Maintain clear communication with service advisors regarding customer pick-ups drop-offs and service completion times.
Provide excellent customer service and represent Honda World in a professional and courteous manner at all times.
Assist customers in and out of the shuttle vehicle when necessary.
Ensure the shuttle vehicle remains clean fueled and properly maintained.
Follow all traffic laws and dealership safety policies.
Keep accurate records of shuttle trips and customer transportation requests if required.
Immediately report any vehicle issues accidents or incidents to management.
Assist the service department with light duties when not actively transporting customers.
Qualifications
Valid drivers license with a clean driving record.
Ability to pass a motor vehicle record check
. Excellent customer service and communication skills.
Professional appearance and positive attitude.
Ability to work in a fast-paced service department environment.
Dependable and punctual.
Physical Requirements
Ability to sit and drive for extended periods of time.
Ability to assist customers entering and exiting the vehicle if needed.
