Job Description: Preferred Personnel Solutions is seeking to hire Soldering Technicians for a manufacturing company located in Suwanee!
Qualifications for Soldering Technicians:
After meeting all of PPS standard qualifications Candidate must meet below qualifications:
Must understand surface mount technology (SMT) and have experience working with electrical components and assembly lines.
Advanced understanding of PCB assembly drawings and related documents.
Advanced understanding of PCB assembly processes component installation sequence of thru hold components.
Need to be familiar with quality standards and have the ability to operate and maintain equipment.
Willing to submit to a drug screening and background check.
Assignment Duties for Soldering Technicians:
Prepares and solders all levels of electronic components onto PCBs according to specifications.
Performs all levels of SMT and thru hole hand component soldering to IPC standards.
Lead forming of different types of electronic parts using hand tools and automatic equipment for PCB assembly.
Work with leaded and lead-free solder.
Interpret resistor color codes and capacitors values.
Utilize electrical and manual tools such as soldering iron de-soldering equipment and solder removal tools.
Rework repair and modify PCBs and/or assemblies.
Shift Details: Monday-Friday 7:00AM-3:00PM
Pay Rate: $23.00/hour
