Job Summary

Florida SouthWestern State Collegeis accepting resumes in search of anAdjunctProfessorin the School of Business & technology.FSWsadjunct professors are responsible for providing professional quality work as a teaching faculty member. Work includes conducting and teaching courses within the prescribed curriculum for students enrolled at the College; preparing and delivering lectures to students; compiling administering and grading examinations; and providing academic assistance to students as an FSW adjunct you have the opportunity to directly impact the college mission to inspire our students to Dedicate to Graduate.

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Doctoral or masters degree from a regionally accredited institution of higher education in Geography Geographic Information Systems Civil Engineering Urban and Regional Planning Environmental Engineering Construction Engineering or other related engineering or construction discipline.
  • OR
    Doctoral or Masters degree and 18 graduate semester hours in Geographic Systems Geography Urban and Regional Planning Civil Engineering Environmental Engineering Construction Engineer Planning or other related engineering or construction discipline.
  • Demonstrated ability to use technology in creating and delivering course content
  • Demonstrated in-depth knowledge of the subject area to be taught and currency in the discipline
