Warehouse Assistant (Heavy Lifting Morning Shift)
Location: Minden NV
Shift: Morning
Schedule: 7:00 AM 3:00 PM
Break: 30-minute break
Position Overview
We are seeking a hardworking and reliable Warehouse Assistant to support daily warehouse and operations tasks. This role involves receiving materials organizing inventory preparing items for production/shipment and maintaining a clean and safe work environment. Ideal for someone who enjoys hands-on work and staying active throughout the day.
Key Responsibilities
Receive and inspect incoming materials for accuracy and quality
Organize and store inventory in designated warehouse areas
Pick pack and prepare items for production and outgoing shipments
Maintain accurate inventory records (manual or ERP system)
Assist with cycle counts and physical inventory audits
Operate warehouse equipment (pallet jacks carts forklifts if certified)
Keep warehouse clean organized and compliant with safety policies
Support production teams with material delivery as needed
Follow company safety procedures and quality standards
Qualifications & Skills
High school diploma or equivalent preferred
Previous warehouse or manufacturing experience a plus (not required)
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand/walk for long periods
Basic math and organizational skills
Ability to follow instructions in a fast-paced environment
Forklift certification preferred (or willingness to obtain)
Strong attention to detail and reliability
Physical Requirements
Frequent lifting bending reaching and standing
Handling boxes materials and warehouse equipment safely
Required Experience:
Junior IC
