Your New Role and Responsibilities
As a Cyber Solutions Architect you will lead the design and assurance of secureresilientand mission-ready architectures across complex high-assurance environments.
Operating with a high degree of autonomy you will shape cyber strategy and security architecture across large-scale transformation programs. Working closely with account teams capture leads engineeringteamsand senior customer stakeholders you will define end-to-end cyber solutions across secure cloud hybridinfrastructureand deployed environments.
This is more than a security design role. You will:
Embed security-by-design principles into enterprise and solution architectures
Leadrisk reduction activitiescyber architecture strategy across cloud infrastructure digitalplatformsand enterprise observability ecosystems
Develop security planspoliciesand procedures
Conduct threat modelling riskassessmentsand security architecture reviews across mission-critical systems
Define secure reference architectures patternsstandardsand hardening baselines
Integrate security principles across identity networkworkloadand data domains.
Work with specific security use cases such as addressingsecurity standards privacy by design and emergingsecurity practices.
Guide secure cloud migrations ensuring cyber hardening and compliance from design through deployment
Oversee testing troubleshooting cyberhardeningand secure debugging of software-intensive systems
Partner with CTO CISO and operational teams to define long-term cyber roadmaps
Influence executive stakeholders on cyber riskresilienceand strategic security investments
Lead and uplift technical teams across capturemobilisationand program delivery
Act as a trustedcyber-SMEin presales businessdevelopment on contract growthand strategic engagements
Collaborate with international Leidos teams toleverageand repatriate global cyber capability
You will regularly resolvehighly complexcyber and systems challenges requiring deep technicalexpertise strategicreasoningand collaborative leadership. Your solutions will not only protect systemsthey will enhance mission performance and commercial outcomes.
WhatYoullBring to Make an Impact
Ideally10 years experience in cyber security architectureengineeringor secure systems design
Ability to translate complex security problems for non cyber security speakers.
Proven experience delivering cyber transformation across large-scale cloud and hybrid environments
Proven ability to lead and advocate in a complex multi-discipline environment where cyber is just one of the constraints being considered
Deepexpertisein secure solution architecture across:
Mission software systems
Cloud platforms (AWS Azure GCP or Oracle)
Infrastructure platforms and deployed information environments
Knowledge ofsecurity frameworksand their application including forthe Information Security Manual(ISM) ISO27001andNIST 800-53
Experiencewith environment monitoring andobservability with security telemetry
Understanding of secure SDLCDevSecOpsand systems integration
Exposure to bothWaterfall and Agiledelivery models
Experience influencing executive stakeholders on cyber risk and architectural direction
Demonstrated leadership across technical teams in capture R&D and complex program delivery
Experience within government defenceintelligenceor regulated environments (highly regarded)
Model Based Systems Engineering (MBSE)experience(highly regarded)
A strong senseof ownershipaccountabilityand delivery focus
