About the Role:
Based in Macau France as Winemaker you will oversee key decisions throughout the winemaking process in order to produce wines that meet company standards while maximising quality from grape to bottle.

Key Responsibilities Include:
Support external partners
Grape sourcing and management and winemaking strategy to achieve volume style and brand objectives
Overall responsibility for winemaking from grape to bottling
As a member of the TWE France (TWEFR) winemaking team manage all resources to achieve optimal production outcomes
Management of a wine portfolio across multiple styles quality levels and brands (Penfolds and TWEFR Château Brands) including operational supply chain aspects
Overall responsibility for quality assurance of wines produced within TWEFR through regular organoleptic and analytical monitoring
Delivery of finished wines on schedule. Ensure wines are compliant and within specifications (legal requirements quality and style)
Ensure the TWEFR winemaking team works proactively with TWEFR operational teams to achieve optimal efficiency and performance
Ensure strict compliance with control and authorization procedures set by professional bodies fraud authorities and customs in full accordance with applicable regulations
Ensures compliance with oenological regulations as well as hygiene best practices (HACCP) and all health and safety measures in place within the company

What Were Looking For:
We are looking for a high-performing Winemaker ideally with 5 years of experience in winery / cellar operations and general winemaking and experience in harvest operations and grape sensory order to be considered for the role you will need fluency in French (spoken and written) and the ability to communicate in English (both written and spoken).

Youll also need:
Bachelors degree in applied science (Wine Science/Oenology) or equivalent
Knowledge of supply chain
Autonomy
Flexibility
Strong interpersonal / relationship-building skills
Experience communicating with groups of various sizes
Proficiency in using databases and office software
Proven ability to ensure compliance with regulatory oenological hygiene and health & safety standards
