Administrative & Logistics Support South Bend IN


This opening with our clients warehouse and distribution operation is a full-time position with hours of 8:00am to 5:00pm Monday through Friday. This opportunity is expected to last a minimum of 3 months with potential for extension and requires someone who is ready to start quickly and jump into training right away.


This role is a great fit for someone who enjoys working behind the scenes to keep operations running smoothly with a mix of administrative documentation and logistics support responsibilities. Youll be working closely with internal teams including sales warehouse and operations to ensure accuracy and efficiency across processes.


Job Duties:

  • Assisting with wire receiving processes and automated warehouse entries

  • Entering and verifying certification data including MILL documentation requirements

  • Managing and uploading documentation through SharePoint

  • Creating and maintaining inventory tags and records

  • Supporting pricing and cost tracking for materials

  • Communicating with sales regarding stock arrivals and updates

  • Assisting with transfer logistics including coordination of shipments from Mexico

  • Entering purchase orders and updating transfer lists

  • Completing shipping and documentation paperwork

  • Ordering office supplies and providing general administrative support

  • Cross-training in additional processes including custom shipment handling

Its a match for someone who brings previous administrative or logistics support experience is highly detail-oriented and enjoys working in a fast-paced environment with a variety of responsibilities. Strong communication skills and a team-first mindset will be important for success in this role. Bilingual (English/Spanish) skills are a plus but not required.


Requirements:

  • Strong computer proficiency including Microsoft Office and data entry systems

  • Experience working with documentation reporting or inventory processes preferred

  • Ability to manage multiple tasks with accuracy and attention to detail

  • Ability to understand and communicate (talk-read-hear) work instructions

  • Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision peripheral vision depth perception and the ability to adjust and focus
