About the Role

Key responsibilities include:
Planning and delivering engaging French lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4
Supporting pupils speaking listening reading and writing skills
Preparing pupils for GCSE French examinations
Monitoring pupil progress and providing structured feedback
Supporting enrichment opportunities such as language clubs
Contributing to curriculum planning within the MFL department
Creating a supportive and inclusive classroom environment
Encouraging enthusiasm for languages and cultural learning
Experience and Skills
The successful candidate will:
Hold QTS or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification
Have strong subject knowledge in French
Be confident teaching across Key Stages 3 and 4
Demonstrate strong classroom management skills
Be able to inspire enthusiasm for languages
Work effectively as part of a collaborative department
