Job Summary
Import & Export
- Good knowledge about Import & Export function especially in the field of medical device/Pharma industries.
- Manage import & export forwarding shipments from & to India from the rest of the world in different modes of transportation.
- Manage the custom clearance for all incoming & outgoing medical device shipments as per country compliances and ensure 100% adherence.
- Maintain & manage all documentary records for all import shipments as per data retention policy.
- Manage Special shipments such as High Sea Sales Drop Shipment and Shipment clearance under Bond with 100% complied document management.
- Manage documentation recording for Exim return submission to multiple internal and external stakeholders/ agencies.
- Coordination with each cross-functional team on any Exim-related logistics/Legal Metrology activi-ties.
- Coordination with company approved Customs House Agent (CHA) to ensure timely customs clearance of import/Export shipment.
- Management of customer complaint samples
- Warehousing and distribution of medical devices in partnership with third-party logistics (3PL)
- Monthly review meetings for 3PL and W&D Vendors for their KPI/SLA performance monitoring
- Periodic review and revision of SOPs development of new SOPs for warehouse and distribution operations and integration of change control measures for all process modifications.
- Maintaining 100% MIS/ database of all Incoming & outgoing operations with a way of tracking re-ports monthly MIS weekly MIS cost spending.
- Should have strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Should be competent in analytical skills and deliver analysis on the ongoing operations.
- Lead changes required with respect to legal metrology requirement
