The Role
The school is seeking an enthusiastic and knowledgeable Librarian to manage and develop the school library as a central hub for learning and literacy.
Key Responsibilities
Manage the daily operations of the school library
Promote reading for pleasure and independent study
Support students with research and information literacy
Maintain and develop library resources and catalogues
Organise reading initiatives events and author visits
Work with staff to support curriculum delivery
Create a welcoming and inclusive library environment
Requirements
Experience working in a library or educational setting
Strong organisational and cataloguing skills
Passion for reading and literacy development
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to engage and inspire students
