Profile Summary:
The Data Engineer will design develop and maintain robust data integration solutions using Oracle Data Integrator (ODI) as part of enterprise analytics and data engineering initiatives. This role requires deep expertise in ETL processes data warehousing and performance optimization and ensure adherence to best practices.

Qualifications

Duties and Responsibilities :
- Design & Development:
- Develop ODI interfaces mappings packages and workflows for data extraction transformation and loading.
- Functional Expertise:
- Good to have functional and business knowledge of Various modules in Oracle E Business Suite
- Performance & Optimization:
- Optimize ODI jobs and database queries for efficiency and scalability.
- Set up monitoring and alert systems for job failures and performance bottlenecks.
- Documentation & Compliance:
- Maintain detailed technical documentation for all development activities.
- Enforce coding standards version control and agile practices.
- Ensure compliance with security and governance standards.
Technical Requirements:
- Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in Oracle Data Integrator (ODI) and ETL processes.
- Strong knowledge of SQL PL/SQL scripting languages and performance tuning.
- Good to know Oracle Cloud Infrastructure Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC) Oracle Apex and Multi-cloud infrastructure concepts.
- Must have worked in a Scaled Agile Framework
- Familiarity/Experience with Oracle Fusion is an advantage
Soft Skills:
- Excellent problem-solving communication
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Qualities:
- Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science Information Technology or related field
- Minimum 3 to 6 years in data engineering or ETL development and ODI.
