Job description
Major responsibilities:
You will be responsible for the whole SAP BW life cycle processes covering Implementation along with requirement gathering designing right solution implementation testing preparing documentation and providing necessary support.
- Implementation experience of SAP BW on HANA SAP BW native & SAP BPC projects (business requirements gathering system configuration test documentation execution and post go-live support)
- Lead the deployment of SAP BW and BI solutions with a focus on BW on HANA SAP BPC Analytics Cloud where applicable
- Analyze business needs and propose technical solutions within BI/BW considering integration requirements and potential impacts on other SAP modules or third-party applications
- Develop and enhance BW objects such as InfoObjects InfoCubes Infosources/Data Sources Master Data Transformations Update Rules DSO Extractors Infosets Aggregates Process Chains DTPs User Exits BADI and HANA objects like Schemas Calculated Analytical or Scripted Views using HANA Modeler.
- Design and manage ETL (Extract Transform Load) processes including the development of load programs using tools like LSMW LTMC and others.
- Prepare project documentation including functional and technical specifications
- Collaborate with business stakeholders and key partners to achieve successful project outcomes
- Responsible for the whole SAP BW life cycle:
- Creation of Reports / Applications / Authorization Testing.
- Test Approval and quality assurance under consideration of process optimizations
- Support of the BI - team in context with the realization of system changes in SAP BW
and SAP BPC.
Skill set and experience required in the areas of :-
- 8 years of experience with SAP Business Intelligence (SAP BW 7.5 on HANA) along with a good understanding of HANA architecture.
- Good knowledge in SAP BPC SAP ABAP.
- Good understanding of SAP S/4 FICO MM PI Data Model integration with SAP BI.
- Good knowledge in Web intelligence Analysis for Office Analysis for OLAP.
- Should have knowledge in Basic ABAP programming and SQL Skills.
- Should have support experience along with 2 to 3 End to end Implementation experience in SAP BW/BI/BPC.
- Skills in SAP Analytics Cloud is addon.
- Mentor junior consultants and deliver training sessions in BI/BW functional areas
