Job Summary
| Roles & responsibilities: 12 or 11.5 years Any API Development - .NET/NodeJs Solution design CI-CD Basic cloud experience- AWS preferred/Azure is also fine Test Automation- Unit testing API Testing observability Maintains well defined React/ components Core endpoints with guidance; remediates critical vulnerabilities. Maintain enhance and optimise a mission-critical application platform hosted on AWS. Implement and advocate for Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) best practices ensuring system reliability scalability and performance. Design and manage robust CI/CD pipelines to support seamless and efficient software deployments. Continuously improve monitoring alerting and incident response mechanisms. Collaborate with software development and infrastructure teams to ensure smooth platform operations. Identify and implement automation opportunities to eliminate manual and repetitive tasks. Ensure compliance with security governance and cloud best practices. Essential Skills: Services/APIs: Proficiency and with a strong grasp of REST and GraphQL services. Skilled in API design versioning and schema governance. Web Engineering: Demonstrated experience with React . Ability to build accessible user interfaces meeting WCAG 2.2 AA standards and familiarity with design systems. Strong AWS expertise experience with cloud infrastructure networking security and cost optimisation. Deep understanding of SRE principles (availability reliability observability incident management). Proven experience with automation and scripting using PowerShell and YAML. Expertise in CI/CD methodologies and working with tools like GitHub Actions Jenkins or AWS CodePipeline. Strong troubleshooting and debugging skills in cloud and distributed systems. Experience working in an Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) environment is a plus (Terraform CloudFormation). Excellent problem-solving skills with a proactive and collaborative mindset. |
