Job Summary
Job Overview
We are seeking a certified Red Seal Millwright to join a well-established industrial processing facility in Vancouver. This is a hands-on role focused on mechanical maintenance troubleshooting and equipment repair in a fast-paced production environment.
Key Responsibilities- Install maintain and repair production and facility equipment
- Perform preventive maintenance to minimize downtime
- Troubleshoot and resolve mechanical issues efficiently
- Maintain systems including ice machines freezers cranes and production equipment
- Perform welding and basic fabrication as required
- Conduct routine inspections and maintain accurate records
- Assist with installation and commissioning of new equipment
- Collaborate with operations and maintenance teams
- Red Seal Millwright Certification (required)
- Strong experience in industrial mechanical maintenance
- Troubleshooting skills in production environments
- Experience with cooling refrigeration or pressure systems (asset)
- Welding and fabrication experience (preferred)
- Food processing or manufacturing experience (asset)
- Ability to work independently and in a team setting
- $55 $60/hour (based on experience)
