Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) for the Medical/Surgical unit to provide high-quality patient-centered care during night shifts. The RN will be responsible for assessing planning implementing and evaluating individualized patient care while providing clinical leadership to the healthcare team.

Key Responsibilities

Assess plan implement and evaluate individualized patient care plans
Provide leadership and supervision to the healthcare team during assigned shifts
Coordinate patient care assignments and ensure continuity of care between shifts
Analyze patient data to identify actual and potential health concerns
Monitor patient conditions through assessments rounding and team communication
Administer medications and treatments in accordance with clinical standards
Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes
Educate patients and families on care plans recovery and health promotion
Ensure compliance with safety infection control and regulatory standards
Document patient care accurately and communicate updates to the care team
Serve as a positive role model and provide feedback to team members

Qualifications

Education

Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) Required

Licensure & Certifications

Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
BLS/CPR certification (within 90 days of hire)
ACLS certification (within 90 days of hire)

Experience

Prior Medical/Surgical nursing experience strongly preferred
