Mid-Level Litigation Associate

About the Role:

A leading well-established multi-service law firm is seeking an experienced Litigation Associate with a strong background in real estate litigation. This role offers the opportunity to work on complex high-value real estate disputes while also contributing to broader litigation matters across the firm.

You will take ownership of cases from inception through resolution working closely with a collaborative team while also exercising a high level of independence. This is an excellent opportunity for a seasoned litigator looking to deepen their expertise and play a strategic role in case outcomes.

Responsibilities:

Conduct in-depth legal research and analysis to support case strategy
Draft pleadings discovery requests motions and other legal documents with precision
Manage cases from inception through resolution with minimal supervision
Prepare for and participate in hearings mediations and trials
Engage in settlement negotiations to achieve favorable client outcomes
Identify legal issues proactively and recommend strategic approaches

What Were Looking For:

Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school
Active membership in the State Bar of California
6 years of litigation experience with a strong focus on real estate disputes
Solid understanding of California Code of Civil Procedure Evidence Code Civil Code and Business & Professions Code
Proven ability to independently manage cases and drive strategy
Strong analytical problem-solving and decision-making skills
Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
