Schedule: Acute Rehabilitation (ARU) Monday Friday 8:30 AM 5:00 PM with weekend rotation and holiday coverage
Sign-On Bonus: $15000

Job Summary:
The Occupational Therapist evaluates patients and develops individualized treatment plans to enhance functional independence across acute hospital acute rehabilitation inpatient medical-surgical and outpatient settings. This role delivers therapeutic interventions to support daily living activities promote safety and maximize patient participation in meaningful routines. The OT collaborates with an interdisciplinary team educates patients and caregivers on adaptive strategies and equipment and ensures accurate documentation in compliance with regulatory and facility standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Evaluate patients and develop individualized treatment plans
Provide therapeutic interventions to improve functional independence
Support patients in performing activities of daily living (ADLs)
Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams
Educate patients and caregivers on adaptive strategies and equipment use
Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation
Ensure compliance with facility policies and regulatory standards
Maintain a safe treatment environment
Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy program
Active Occupational Therapy (OT) license in the state of practice
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
Rehabilitation or Acute Care experience preferred
