Job Summary
Sr. Systems Engineer Battery (Onsite Novi MI)
Key Focus Areas- Systems Engineering (End-to-End) requirements elicitation architecture traceability validation
- Battery Systems Expertise module/pack design thermal systems exposure
- Strong Requirements Management DOORS / JAMA / Polarion / Codebeamer
- System Integration & Testing DV/PV in-vehicle validation
- Cross-functional Coordination E/E Mechanical Software teams
- DFMEA Root Cause (8D/RedX) Compliance
- Customer-facing experience with OEMs / Tier-1s (important)
- MBSE exposure (Cameo / Capella / MagicDraw etc.) good to have
- Team is lean and high-impact so they are looking for hands-on ownership-driven engineers
- Strong preference for candidates who can handle ambiguity and work across domains (E/E Mechanical Systems)
- Communication and ability to present to customers/lead discussions will be critical
