Job Summary

description:

Delivers coordinated nursing care for a patient or an assigned group of patients according to established standards of care and the nursing process. Supervises and directs the activities of various levels of assigned nursing staff and coordinates care with other disciplines while utilizing critical thinking professional and supervisory discretion and independent department provides labor delivery and recovery (LDR) services. The OB Triage function is included here if performed by staff in this department. Postpartum infant care and ambulatory birthing centers are excluded.

Day Shift - 48 hours per week preferred MUST have AWHONN Advanced FHM NRP ACLS. Must have the ability to circulate and recover in OR and be able to float to PP couplet and Work Experience:Bachelors Degree in Nursing (BSN): PreferredAcute care facility experience: PreferredLicenses/Certifications:Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in the state of practice: RequiredCardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) or Basic Life Support (BLS OR HS-BLS OR RQIBLS) certification: RequiredFacility Specific License/Certifications:AHA-BLS or ARC-BLS: RequiredDepartment Specific License/Certifications:AHA-ACLS or ARC-ALS: RequiredAHA-NRP or ARC-NALS: Required
