The State of South Carolina is looking for a Network Engineer - Consultant Why is this position open: New Position. The South Carolina Department of Motor Vehicles is looking for a skilled Network Administrator Consultant who will act as a point of reference for the Network Operations Center team on technical issues. Max $$$: $$$/hour Will close to submissions on March 30th 2026 at 5:00PM EST. Interview Process: Two Rounds. Candidate needs to be prepared to go onsite for one or both interviews. Duration of the Contract: 12 Months Possibility for Extension: Yes Work Location: Fully Onsite Candidate location: Candidates must be residents of SC NC or GA AND be willing to relocate within 40 miles of Blythewood SC prior to their start date at their own expense. This position will total 37.5 Hours per Week - there is potential for being on call outside of regular business hours and on weekends on an as needed basis for outages. Candidate will be required to travel to various SCDMV Field Offices during work hours. A Valid SC Drivers License is REQUIRED for this position. A state vehicle will be provided for travel.
