What wouldyourole look like
Manages export shipments and coordinates imports aligning shipping schedules with production planning to ensure product availability matches logistics timelines. Prepares and controls all required documentation oversees logistics execution and ensures full compliance with legal and quality standards. Also responsible for meeting Supply Chain OTIF (On Time In Full) targets by delivering shipments on time in the correct quantity and quality and in full regulatory compliance.
Duties and responsibilities:
- Prepare and send shipping documents to customs brokers; monitor clearance with regulatory authorities
- Manage release of perishable goods including federal inspection approvals and lab analysis tracking
- Coordinate shipments with freight forwarders airlines ocean carriers and transport providers; ensure bookings and deadlines are met
- Follow up on all shipments confirm dispatch and update the ERP system (Datasul)
- Stay up to date with international trade regulations to ensure fiscal and documental compliance
- Send clearance instructions coordinate with suppliers and manage payment and tax provisions
- Update delivery dates in Datasul ensuring traceability and Supply Chain accuracy
The ideal candidate is:
Bachelors degree in Business Administration International Trade or a related field
Knowledge of export operations
Understanding of export trade regulations
Experience with export logistics
English and Spanish proficiency (speaking writing and reading) preferred
Knowledge of quality and safety standards related to the role
