About the Role
We are seeking a motivated and compassionate Dental Assistant / Dental Nurse to join our clients dynamic team in Varsity this role you will support the dentists and patients in delivering high-quality dental care ensuring a comfortable and positive experience for their patients.
Working Hours & Availability
We are looking for someone to start as soon as possible and who is available to initially work 2 days per week increasing to building up to 4 days per week.
They have a rotating fortnightly roster and you will need some flexibility for the below:
Availability on Mondays until 6:15pm is essential
Saturday availability is required (half day)
Additional shifts may be available during the week depending on clinic needs
Requirements
Key Responsibilities
Assist dental practitioners during various procedures. Prepare treatment rooms instruments and materials prior to patient arrival.
Provide chair-side assistance ensuring patient comfort throughout treatments.
Sterilize and maintain dental instruments and equipment in accordance with infection control protocols.
Manage patient records with accuracy and confidentiality.
Educate patients on post-treatment care and oral hygiene practices.
Skills and Experiences
Experience in dental assisting / dental nurse (preferred but not essential)
Experience in clinical working environment (desirable but not essential)
High level of attention to details
Flexibility reliability and punctuality
Respectful good attitude willing to learn and take instructions / feedback well
Good communication and interpersonal skills
Strong administrative skills
