Mobile Health Team Inc. is seeking an experienced Physical Therapist -Outpatient for a 13-week travel assignment in Bad Axe MI.
Contract Details
- Days 8; Tuesdays to Fridays 7:30 am - 6 pm OR Monday & Wednesdays 8 am - 4:30 Tuesdays/Thursdays/Fridays 9:30 - 6 pm
- Start Date: 3/30/2026
- Contract: 13 weeks
- Location: Bad Axe MI
- Traveler Policy: Anyone within a 35 mile radius is considered a local traveler.
- State License Requirements: Michigan
- Weekend Requirements: On call is required one Saturday per month(this is likely to decrease in frequency to one Saturday every other month)

- Nonbillable Hours: 12 hours of initial hours
Physical therapy helps reduce pain and restore function and independence in patients who have undergone surgery suffered an injury are recovering from serious illness or are coping with a chronic condition.
Our dedicated rehabilitation team uses a multidisciplinary approach combining exercise and strength training with manual therapy and modalities to develop an individualized treatment plan that meets the unique needs of each patient.
Treatment begins with a physicians prescription and a comprehensive evaluation by an experienced physical therapist. Therapist and patient then work on-on-one following a specific plan of care designed to help the patient return to work and normal daily activities as quickly and safely as possible.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams
- Document accurately and comply with facility policies and protocols
- Maintain patient safety infection prevention and regulatory compliance
Compensation:
- Weekly Pay (hourly) Non-taxed Stipend (if eligible)
- Pay package details provided upon offer
Requirements
Minimum Requirements:
- 1 Year of Swing bed acute and outpatient PT experience is required
- Ortho Experience is preferred
- Travel Experience is preferred
- Graduate of an accredited PTA institution is required
- MI PT License is required
- Health system-wide profile standards
- Active American Heart Association BLS is required
- Strong communication professionalism and reliability

- Drug screen and background check (facility required)
- Additional facility onboarding forms as assigned
