ABOUT THE ROLE

As a Procurement Automation & Process Improvement Intern your primary mission will be to analyze our workflows policies and systems to design develop and implement cutting-edge automation solutions. This is a unique opportunity for a tech-passionate student to dive deep into the Procurement world identifying opportunities to optimize reduce manual labor and generate business intelligence through AI and automation tools. You wont just follow processes; you will rebuild them for the future.

Your main responsibilities will include:

• Process Mapping: Analyze current Procurement workflows and systems to identify bottlenecks and automation opportunities.
• Building Solutions: Develop and implement automation (using IA RPA scripts etc.) to streamline tasks and improve efficiency.
• Data Intelligence: Design and build automated dashboards and reports to provide real-time insights into spend analysis savings and KPIs.
• Co-creation: Collaborate directly with the Procurement team to understand their challenges and co-create effective technological solutions.
• Documentation & Support: Document new automated processes and support the team during the implementation of new tools.
• Innovation Research: Constantly research and propose new technologies and methodologies to drive continuous improvement.

WHO YOU ARE

• Educational Background: Currently pursuing a Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Systems Engineering (Computer Production etc.) or related technology fields.
• Builders Mindset: A strong passion for solving business problems through technology and a natural drive to automate manual tasks.
• Tech Stack: Solid knowledge or experience in developing scripts or automation applications (e.g. Python RPA tools Google Apps Script).
• Data & AI Savvy: Advanced proficiency in Excel (VBA Power Query) or Google Sheets. Experience with AI/ML libraries or Data Visualization tools (Power BI Tableau) is a significant plus.
• Analytical Thinking: Ability to handle complex data and documentation with a critical eye looking for patterns to streamline processes.
• Business Curiosity: While not required a basic understanding of finance or procurement processes is a plus to accelerate your business impact.
• Advanced English (Required): Strong verbal and written communication skills to operate in a global environment. Spanish is an added advantage.
