This position is for our D shift which works Thursday through Saturday and every other Wednesday from 7pm to 7am. There is a $4 differential for this shift.
Job Summary:
Asan AppleSorterforMaterneNorth Americayou willbe responsible forinspectingsortingand removing bad apples and other foreign material from productionlinein an efficient manner according to operational and quality standards.
Position Responsibilities:
Inspectsortand remove bad apples and foreign material from the production line.
Assistwith providingguidance and coaching totemporary associates or othersassigned toapplesorting to ensure that work is being performed to standard including proper defect identification.
Assistwithhousekeeping generalsanitationand clean-up activities.
Assistwithraw material wasteremoval
Assistwith cinnamon weighing and other tasks asneeded
Must work a minimum of 12hours
Physical Requirements:
Must be able to stand for an entire shift (12 hours)
Must be able tolift upto40lbs
Education:
High school diplomaGED or equivalentpreferred
Experience:
Prior experience working in a manufacturing environment ispreferred
Prior experience working in the food industry ispreferred
Knowledge/Skills:
Strong attention to detail
Ability to communicate (verbal read write) effectively inEnglish
