Job Summary
We are seeking a highly experienced Senior VoIP/Network Engineer with 15 years of hands-on experience in designing implementing and supporting enterprise voice and network infrastructure. The ideal candidate will possess deep expertise in VoIP technologies network architecture and troubleshooting complex communication systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design deploy and maintain VoIP systems and IP-based telephony solutions
- Configure and manage network infrastructure (routers switches firewalls)
- Monitor system performance and ensure high availability and reliability
- Troubleshoot voice quality issues (latency jitter packet loss)
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on network and telecom projects
- Ensure security compliance and best practices across voice and data networks
Required Skills:
- 15 years of experience in VoIP networking and telecom infrastructure
- Strong experience with VoIP protocols (SIP RTP etc.)
- Hands-on expertise in networking (TCP/IP VLANs VPNs QoS)
- Experience with Cisco Avaya or similar platforms
- Solid troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
Qualifications :
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science IT Electronics or related field
- Cloud VoIP or unified communications experience
- Certifications (CCNP CCIE or equivalent)
- Experience with monitoring tools and network security
- This role is based onsite in Atlantic City NJ.
