Job Summary
As the HSE Lead at Clearwater you will leverage your deep understanding of OHS regulations to promote a safety-focused culture among employees and subcontractors ensuring compliance with health and safety standards and providing technical expertise in environment health and safety.
What would you be doing
- Promote health safety and environmental (HSE) practices among employees and subcontractors.
- Provide technical expertise and support for HSE training and development.
- Manage WCB in partnership with Human Resources.
- Assist management with incident investigations and reporting. Ensure cause and corrective actions are implemented.
- Advise on compliance related to OHS and company standards.

Qualifications :
- Certification as a Canadian Registered Safety Professional (CRSP) and/or Occupational Health and Safety Certificate (OHS) preferred.
- NCSO Certification
- Knowledge and experience with HSE Management Systems and audit tools including Alberta Partnerships Certificate of Recognition (COR).
- Relevant safety tickets: WHMIS CSTS-09 H2S Alive Fall Protection and Common Safety Orientation (CSO).
- Ability to lead a team of HSE Advisors effectively.
- Proficient in English both written and verbal communication required.

This position has been identified as a safety-sensitive position and will require completion of drug and alcohol testing.
