About the role
As a Data Insights Analyst you will play a key role in enabling evidencebased decisionmaking across the University through highquality reporting analytics and predictive insights. Working within a collaborative analytics team in Finance you will partner closely with executive and senior leaders to understand business problems shape analytical approaches and deliver insights that inform strategic and operational decisions.
The role focuses on delivering impactful business intelligence using tools such as Tableau and Power BI alongside advanced analytics and predictive modelling using R or similar tools. You will translate complex data into clear compelling insights for nontechnical audiences and act as a trusted advisor on data interpretation availability and appropriate use.
You will work in agile projectbased ways to implement analytics solutions that guide business decisions collaborating closely with the Data Warehouse and Digital Solutions teams to define data requirements and ensure data is fitforpurpose. The role offers a high level of autonomy and problemsolving with opportunities to innovate through automation and the practical application of AI to improve analytics capability and ways of working.
About you
- You will hold relevant tertiary qualifications in a quantitative analytical or related discipline or demonstrate equivalent professional experience.
- You will bring strong analytical capability with experience delivering insights through business intelligence and analytics platforms such as Tableau and Power BI and applying advanced analytics statistical techniques or predictive modelling using R or similar tools.
- You will have a proven ability to translate complex data into clear meaningful insights that support executive decisionmaking along with highly developed problemsolving skills and the ability to work confidently with ambiguity.
- Strong stakeholder engagement influencing and advisory skills are essential as is a high level of selfdirection accountability and initiative.
- An interest in innovation automation and AIenabled analytics will be highly regarded.

Salary Range
HEW 7 Salary - Base range - $101068.27 - $109496.54 17% super. Full package range - $118249.89 - $128110.96.
