Job Summary
Do you want to work in a fun international team at a location that is easy to reach and where no day is ever the same At ibis Amsterdam City West we are looking for an enthusiastic Receptionist to join our team!
What will you do
As a receptionist you are the face of our hotel. You make sure guests feel welcome from the very first moment and leave with a smile. You are responsible for your own shift and keep an overview in a hotel with 180 rooms. Your tasks include:
- Checking guests in and out
- Managing reservations and handling administrative tasks
- Answering questions via phone email and online channels
- Providing information about the hotel and the city
- Booking tickets and assisting with various guest requests
- Supporting wherever needed even if a guest would like a cup of coffee
Our lobby is your main workplace but you are just as happy to support colleagues in other departments. As a mediumsized hotel we offer plenty of independence and many opportunities to learn.
Qualifications :
Who are we looking for
We are seeking an enthusiastic and motivated colleague who:
- Is full time available
- Has experience in the hotel industry and reception work
- Has a true passion for hospitality
- Speaks English fluently
- Is flexible (morning evening and weekend shifts)
- Speaking Spanish and/or French Thats a big advantage!
