Job Summary
We offer:
Pay: 15 per hour
Shifts: Mainly daytime 5 days out of 7 (including weekends)
Contract: Full Time Permanent
About the Junior Sous Chef role:
- Reporting directly to the Head Chef and Sous Chef and deputising in their absence
- Working with the Head Chef Sous Chef and Group Executive Chef to ensure the kitchen operation remains consistent support the development new menu ideas and ways to improve our offerings
- Ensuring the food quality is always at its highest standard
- Ensure the performance of the kitchen team is of the highest standard by motivating and leading by example
- Overseeing stock levels and making key decisions about stock control in conjunction with the Head Chef and Sous Chef
- Ensure all food safety and health and safety procedures are maintained to the highest standard
Qualifications :
The ideal candidate will have:
- Experience with making pizza
- Experience within a high-volume kitchen
- Strong communication and leadership skills
- Multi-site experience
- An eye for detail and the ability to produce food to a high standard
- The ability to lead motivate and manage a team effectively
- Excellent organisational and time management skills
- A thorough understanding of food safety and hygiene regulations
