Key Responsibilities
- Assess Market Opportunities & Design Pipeline Strategy
- Deeply understand Chinas disease landscape unmet needs regulations competitors and trends to identify market opportunities
- Collaborate with Global teams to co-create asset development plans brand indications and launch strategies for success in China
- Influence Global Investment & Support China Pipeline
- Serve as the authoritative voice on China market dynamics and act as the advocate for China in Global programs influencing decisions to prioritize China pipeline development
- Build business cases based on market insights and compelling commercial opportunity assessment to secure Global investment and accelerate China opportunities
- Drive alignment with Global pipeline strategies and foster relationships with key Global HQ and Area stakeholders
3. Lead Cross-Functional Collaboration & Drive Strategic Initiatives
- Lead high-performing cross-functional teams (R&D Regulatory Medical Market Access etc.) to create China asset strategy development and pre-launch plans
- Lead task forces to address challenges and maximize value for high-priority assets
- Foster open accountable collaborative teamwork across functions
4. Guide and coach NPP Managers
- Structure and delegate tasks effectively to NPP managers providing direction and coaching to support their growth and performance
- Demonstrate strong leadership business integrity collaboration ownership and initiative resilience & adaptability
Qualifications :
Core Competencies:
- Strategic thinking business acumen China market expertise & global perspective;
- Analytical rigor data-driven insights structured and creative problem-solving;
- Influence & excellent communication (English & Mandarin);
- Project management vision of goals critical path and priorities in implementation
Preferred Background:
- 10 years of professional experience including both minimum 3 years in relevant corporate functions (NPP commercial development marketing strategy marketing & sales excellence corporate strategy etc.) AND minimum 3 years in consulting (strategy marketing insights etc.)
- Post-graduate degree (Masters MBA Ph.D. MD)
