POSITION SUMMARY

Role as a Bid Manager in leading the bidding team to produce quality submittals in response to request for Tender (RFT/RFP/RFQ/RFI/TOR) which is > USD 500k - SEA/ROA/Regional/Global bids.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Bid Pricing Management

  • Compile the overall BOM from CTS/LTS/GS/Project Management & Procurement - ensuring cost accuracy & optimization.
  • To propose the right sell price for submission based on pricing review with Product & Technical team while inline against sales strategies.
  • To present overall submission & getting pricing approval from the management before proceed to releasing the price to sales.
  • The one to translate the approved price to the client price submittal(format).
  • Repricing of Bids.
  • Pricing changes (Gain/Loss) analysis cost changes & VCM analysis.
  • Pricing trend & Cost trend analysis.

Bid Management

  • Leading & manage all stages of bid process from qualification to submission to the sales team.
  • Developing and maintaining best practice throughout the bid cycle.
  • Manage bid submission - coordinating with all bidding team members to ensure and obtain all submittals.
  • Ensure a full understanding of the solution portfolio appropriate offerings within a complete and competitive solution are proposed to meet the customer requirements.
  • Aware & highlight the overall risk (Commercial/Technical/GS) when presenting to management for approval.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Possess a Bachelor Degree.
  • Minimum 3 years of working experience in related to Pricing Bid/ Tender Submission Telecom Colocation Industry.
  • Skillful in Microsoft Office comfortable in managing Excel spreadsheet.
  • Good Number Sense comfortable when dealing in huge project value.
  • Detail-oriented paying close attention to all of the small particulars when working Bid Pricing.
  • Good Communication & Presentation Skills no issues in communicating to different levels of colleagues up till management.
  • Excellent Time Management & Organization skills.
