Position Summary

The Organisational Change Manager (OCM) sits within the OCM Practice in Portfolio & Planning. The role partners with other Change Managers within the Student Experience Tapestry program and works with Program leadership (including the Executive Director) to deliver coordinated change outcomes. The Student Experience Tapestry program is a largescale initiative that weaves together several signature student experience threads to strengthen RMITs systems and transform students lives.

As an Organisational Change Manager you will shape and deliver organisational change across assigned projects within the program. This includes defining change scope developing and delivering change materials supporting stakeholder engagement and delivering clear communications.

You will work closely with other Tapestry Program Organisational Change Managers Project Managers and Program leadership (including the Executive Director) to align delivery with the programlevel change strategy and roadmap.

Acting as a conduit for change activity you will support executive decisions by consolidating impacts surfacing dependencies and escalating risks and issues.

Consolidate and maintain programwide stakeholder matrices and engagement plans

Identify joinup opportunities overlaps and dependencies across the program

Contribute to consistent and streamlined communication and messaging across the program

Align timelines activities and change artefacts with other Program Organisational Change Managers

Identify opportunities to reduce duplication and improve efficiency across change delivery

Selection Criteria

Minimum 4 years strong experience as an OCM practitioner.

Experience in the application of an OCM methodology (such as PROSCI).

Experience in OCM end-to-end delivery within projects including Change Impact Analysis Communications Engagement and Learning/Training & Development fundamentals.

Experience in managing change in complex ambiguous dynamic environments.

Experience in developing and implementing OCM strategy for projects.

Excellent stakeholder management negotiation facilitation and relationship skills including the ability to work collaboratively with key stakeholders and develop effective relationships with diverse staff at all levels.

Excellent communication skills both written and verbal: ability to articulate messages to a variety of audiences and all organisational levels including executive level.

Outstanding planning and organisation skills along with outstanding levels of productivity in terms of attention to detail accuracy time management and speed.

Demonstrated ability to work autonomously own tasks/deadlines take accountability for delivering quality outcomes manage priorities and adapt to moving timeframes.

Desirable:

Exposure to tertiary education sector.

Experience in OCM delivery for technology/innovation projects.

People management skills including experience in coaching other staff.

Qualifications

Degree in Information Technology and/or related Vendor Certifications.

CCNA or CCNP level certifications - highly desirable
