Job Summary

This is a great opportunity for someone with strong administration or project coordination experience who is looking to progress their career in an inclusive organisation while contributing to work that supports communities across east London and the ongoing legacy of Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park

As our Inclusive Growth Project Officer you will be at the heart of the Inclusive Growth Directorate providing project and coordination support that keeps our programmes running smoothly and to a high standard. Youll be involved in a wide and varied mix of work across employment and skills innovation community empowerment impact measurement and our inclusive growth assets. From coordinating meetings arranging events and managing financial administration to maintaining project documentation supporting funding proposals and helping to produce reports no two days are the same.

Youre a highly organised detail-driven team player with a positive can-do attitude and a genuine interest in inclusive growth and social impact. Youll bring experience in a senior administrative or project support role including organising meetings and events managing documentation and supporting financial processes such as purchase orders and budget tracking. Youre confident engaging with stakeholders at all levels you communicate with clarity and professionalism and youre motivated by contributing to work that makes a real difference for diverse communities.

  • The salary for this post is 38342 per annum. LLDC operates a performance-based incremental pay scale.
  • The probationary period for this post is for 3 months. Upon successful completion of the probation period confirmation of employment will be given and the notice period will be three months.
  • This is a permanent role.
  • This is full time position working 37 hours per week.
  • All employees are eligible to join our pension scheme which is provided by the Local Government Pension Scheme.
  • Annual leave entitlement is 32 days per year plus bank holidays pro-rata for part-time employees. The LLDC leave year runs from 1st April until 31st March and the entitlement will be pro-rata from the individuals start date.
  • To align with LLDCs objectives we offer 3 fully compensated volunteer days (pro-rata for part-time employment) providing all staff with the opportunity to serve the community in which they live in.
  • LLDC can provide employees with an interest-free loan to purchase a season ticket for travel to and from work. Loans are available for the actual cost of the ticket up to a maximum value of 5000.
  • LLDC employees are eligible for a discounted gym membership at the Copper Box Arena and free membership at the London Aquatics Centre. Employees can enjoy the use of both state-of-the-art gyms and swimming facilities for 15 per month.
