We are recruiting on behalf of our client for a Senior Manufacturing Engineer to support advanced aerospace component production within a complex milling (prismatic) environment.
This is a high-impact hands-on role where youll lead manufacturing process development optimize production and work directly with 5-axis CNC machining to drive precision and performance.

What Youll Do:
- Lead manufacturing process development for new aerospace components
- Drive Design for Manufacturing (DFM) initiatives
- Develop and prove out:
- CNC programs (5-axis)
- Operation sequences
- Tooling and work holding strategies
- Detailed work instructions
- Support and improve existing production processes through hands-on shop engagement
- Estimate:
- Time standards
- Labor requirements
- Cost and production efficiency
- Evaluate and implement new manufacturing technologies and capital equipment
- Collaborate with engineering operations quality and suppliers to resolve issues
- Support automated manufacturing cells to improve efficiency and reduce variability
- Lead projects and potentially own the engineering function for a manufacturing cell
What You Bring:
- Bachelors degree 5 years experience
OR Associates 8 years
OR High School Diploma/GED 10 years experience - Strong expertise in 5-axis CNC milling programming (CAD/CAM)
- NX experience preferred
- End-to-end manufacturing process experience (raw material finished product)
- Hands-on machining experience (setup and operation)
- Experience with materials such as:
- Aluminum
- Titanium
- Stainless steel
- Strong knowledge of:
- Cutting tools
- Work holding
- Fixture design
- Project leadership experience
- Strong communication and documentation skills
