Job Summary
Position Overview
Now hiring CDL-A drivers for a regional/OTR dry van position based in the Midwest (Des Moines IA hiring area). This role offers high CPM pay consistent miles and guaranteed weekend home time making it ideal for drivers who want strong earnings without staying out for weeks at a time.
Drivers will haul full truckload freight across regional and OTR lanes with predictable scheduling and a driver-focused operation.
Route & Freight Details
- Regional/OTR runs across:
- Midwest and nationwide lanes (excluding restricted areas)
- Freight includes:
- Full truckload dry van freight
- 100% no-touch freight
- No runs into:
- NYC Canada or Mexico
- Consistent high-volume freight
Schedule
- Home every weekend (48-hour reset)
- Typical 56 day work week
- Predictable dispatch and routing
- Strong mileage consistency week to week
Ideal balance between OTR pay and regional home time
Pay & Compensation
- Avg Weekly Pay: $1600$1900
- Avg Annual Pay: $85000
Mileage Pay:
- $0.67 $0.71 CPM (based on experience & endorsements)
Additional Pay:
- Short haul pay: $25$35 per load
- Detention pay after 1 hour
- Safety bonuses every 90 days:
- Up to $875 PTO
- $600 on-road safety bonus (quarterly)
- $100 annual service bonus
Bonuses
- Sign-on bonus up to $1475 (based on qualifications)
- Additional $600 bonus after 30 days

- Late-model Freightliner Cascadia & Kenworth T680
- Automatic transmissions
- Fully equipped trucks:
- Refrigerator
- Microwave
- Flat-screen TV
- Inverter
- Governed speeds:
- 65 MPH (up to 68 with optimization)
- Assigned trucks (no slip seating)

- No-touch freight minimal physical labor

Requirements
- Valid CDL-A license
- Minimum 3 months of tractor-trailer experience required
- Must be able to:
- Run OTR/regional routes
- Maintain safety and compliance standards
- Work full weekly schedule
