About the Role
The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality teaching within the Nursery setting supporting pupils as they develop essential early learning skills. You will create a stimulating and nurturing classroom environment where children feel confident and excited to learn.
Key responsibilities include:
Planning and delivering engaging Nursery lessons aligned with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework
Supporting childrens development across communication literacy numeracy and personal development
Creating a safe stimulating and inclusive classroom environment
Observing and assessing pupil progress and maintaining accurate records
Supporting pupils social and emotional development
Working closely with teaching assistants and support staff
Building positive relationships with parents and carers
Contributing to the wider life of the school and Early Years provision
Experience and Skills
The successful candidate will:
Hold QTS or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification
Have experience teaching within Early Years or Nursery settings
Demonstrate a strong understanding of the EYFS curriculum
Be patient nurturing and enthusiastic
Have excellent classroom management and communication skills
Be organised and committed to maintaining high standards
Work effectively as part of a collaborative team
