Job Summary

PTC - PMO Project Management Resource

Manages and coordinates the activities of internal and/or external staff involved in multiple IT projects of varying complexity.

Develops and maintains project plans and other artifacts as required using PTC or other established project management standards procedures templates and methodologies.

Coordinates with business owners and other analysts to define and refine the project scope.

Performs project management duties through the entire project lifecycle including initiating planning executing monitoring and controlling and closing.

Conducts lessons learned sessions during and after projects to identify recommendations for improvement.

Develops and maintains a productive working relationship with technology staff business owners project sponsors vendors and key clients.

Adheres to the PTC PMO Playbook and referenced artifacts.

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of five (5) years of expertise in project/project management of projects of various size and subject matter including but not limited to integration scope schedule cost communication vendor and risk planning and management.

Engagement Requirements

Candidates location is preferred to be within the Continental United States.

Successfully complete ePATCH background check and ClearChecks National Criminal Background Check prior to engagement start.

Overtime requests always need to have prior approval of Project Principal with the rightful reasons for overtime.

This position is primarily remote; however this position will require reporting to the Commissions headquarters for meetings as required.

Travel expenses submitted for reimbursement must adhere to federal GSA guidelines governing hotel mileage and meals per diem rates and must include appropriate expense documentation (receipts). GSA Guidelines are available at:

No additional compensation for any travel required if the resource is based within a 3-hour commuting distance. The rate is inclusive of any travel costs.
