CDL Truck Driver & Operator Nox Metals Detroit MI

Nox Metals is a technology company in Detroit supplying aluminum plate bar and rounds to aerospace and defense manufacturers. We use software and automation to supply metal to American factories faster than the industry thought possible.
We need a CDL driver who can also work on the shop floor.
You will:
Drive local and regional deliveries daily
Make overnight cross-country runs 2-3 times per month when customer deadlines require it
Load and unload material safely
Operate saws forklifts and other shop floor equipment
Help maintain an organized and efficient facility
You should be:
Holding a valid Class A CDL
Based in Detroit and comfortable with overnight long hauls a few times a month
Comfortable operating heavy equipment and working with your hands
Reliable. On time. Every day
Able to lift heavy material and work on your feet
Low ego. You do whatever the day requires
Customer obsessed. When you deliver you represent the company
Not afraid to work outside normal hours
The kind of person who sees something that needs doing and does it
