Description

The Director of Case Management CDI at Ensource is responsible for leading and managing the case management and clinical documentation improvement (CDI) functions within the organization. This role ensures that the case management processes align with organizational goals and regulatory requirements while also optimizing clinical documentation to reflect accurate patient care and facilitate appropriate reimbursement.

Key Responsibilities:

- Develop and implement strategic plans for case management and CDI to enhance patient care and operational efficiency.
- Oversee the daily operations of the case management and CDI teams ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations and standards.
- Collaborate with clinical staff to improve documentation practices ensuring accurate and complete patient records.
- Analyze case management and CDI data to identify trends areas for improvement and opportunities for cost savings.
- Provide leadership and guidance to case management and CDI staff fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.
- Liaise with other departments to ensure seamless integration of case management and CDI processes across the organization.
- Monitor and report on the effectiveness of case management and CDI initiatives making data-driven recommendations for improvement.
- Ensure that all case management and CDI activities support the organizations financial and clinical objectives.
- Stay informed of industry trends and regulatory changes to maintain compliance and best practices in case management and CDI.

Requirements:

- Bachelors degree in Nursing Healthcare Administration or a related field is required.
- Certification in Clinical Documentation Integrity (CDIP or CCDS)
- Masters degree in Nursing Healthcare Administration or a related field is preferred.
- Minimum of 8 years of experience in case management or clinical documentation improvement (CDI) within a healthcare setting.
- Proven track record of leadership experience in a managerial or director-level role.
- Experience in developing and implementing case management strategies and CDI programs.
- Familiarity with healthcare regulations accreditation standards and compliance requirements.
- Strong leadership and team management skills with the ability to motivate and guide teams towards achieving organizational goals.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with healthcare professionals patients and stakeholders.
- Analytical skills to assess case management processes and identify areas for improvement.
- Ability to develop and implement policies and procedures that enhance case management and CDI effectiveness.
- Proficiency in healthcare information systems and software related to case management and CDI.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make informed decisions in complex situations.



Qualifications

Required Education:
- Bachelors degree in Nursing Healthcare Administration or a related field is required.
