The Patient Service Centre Manager provides strategic leadership and operational oversight of all administrative functions that support the patient journey. The role ensures that admission booking pre-admission inpatient administration discharge and billing processes are delivered safely efficiently and in accordance with legislative financial and accreditation requirements.
This position plays a key part in organisational performance by managing revenue-related processes maintaining compliance with National Safety and Quality Health Service Standards and actively participating in continuous improvement and risk management.
You will make an impact by:
- delivering a seamless patient-centred administrative experience that supports exceptional clinical care.
- driving high standards of customer service optimising workflows ensuring accurate and timely patient information management.
- leading the Patient Services team to uphold Epworth values and service excellence standards.
- effectively managing and delivering process changes and digital transformation initiatives.
- establishing and maintaining strong stakeholder relationships and effective communication.
You will be accountable for the effective management of:
- seamless and timely patient pre-admission admission and discharge.
- accurate health fund eligibility checks informed financial consent patient payments billing quality and overall data integrity.
- effective financial and performance management to budget and to agreed outcomes.
- a positive collaborative and professional team culture supporting departments across the organisation.
