Job Summary
The Aurora R-VIII School District is seeking a high energy Culture Builder and Instructional Leader to serve as the PRINCIPAL/DIRECTOR of the Aurora R-VIII Alternative School! SALARY RANGE will be commensurate with experience and qualifications; but be a minimum of $75000. Preference will be given to candidates with three (3) or more years experience in an administrative role and five (5) or more years of instructional experience in a Junior High or High School setting. Aurora R-VIII has a strong tradition of community support academic success and a students first approach! The unique FOUR-DAY work week with Fridays being the weekday school is not in-session allows for an appealing schedule with a consistent three (3) day weekend. The Alternative School has nearly 100 students in grades 7-12; andfour (4) staff members.
This position is a TWELVE (12) MONTH contracted commitment with the four (4) day-week expectation and would begin on July 1st 2026. Salary will be commensurate with experience and education.
