Job Description
We are seeking a qualified MEP Quantity Surveyor (Mechanical) to join our team. You will be responsible for preparing BOQs managing quantities and supporting cost control and tendering activities for HVAC and plumbing systems.
This role offers the opportunity to work with a leading Mechanical Contractor in Chicago USA while being based in our Cairo office.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare BOQs (Bills of Quantities) for HVAC and plumbing systems.
- Perform quantity takeoffs from mechanical drawings.
- Analyze project specifications and ensure accurate quantity measurement.
- Support cost estimation and tendering processes.
- Monitor material quantities and cost variations (pre-construction level).
- Use Excel for quantity tracking and reporting.
Requirements
- Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering.
- 13 years of experience in Quantity Surveying (MEP / Mechanical).
- Knowledge of HVAC and plumbing systems.
- Strong understanding of BOQs and quantity takeoffs.
- Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings.
- Strong Excel skills.
- English Fluency.
