Job Description
As a Security Guard - Patrol in Erie PA you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions and more. Join Allied Universal at a financial institution location as an unarmed patrol officer monitoring and patrolling assigned areas to help support a secure environment. You will conduct routine patrols stay highly visible to help discourage security-related incidents and respond to concerns with clear communication and strong customer service. What Youll Do:
- Provide customer service to staff visitors and/or contractors by following site-specific procedures and access control guidelines at a financial institution location.
- Carry out security-related procedures site-specific policies and when appropriate emergency response activities including contacting appropriate responders and documenting actions taken.
- Respond to alarms suspicious activity and/or other incidents in a calm problem-solving manner assisting with de-escalation and reporting observations to site leadership.
- Conduct regular and random patrols of interior areas exterior grounds and the perimeter monitoring for unusual conditions unsecured doors and/or policy concerns.
- Complete detailed shift activity reports and incident documentation communicate pass-down information and support security-related investigations by preserving observations and relevant information.
Minimum Requirements:
- Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
