As a Senior Engineer Global Facilities Central Engineering - I&C at Micron you will have the chance to lead world-class engineering projects and introduce modern AI solutions digital transformation and SMART Facilities initiatives. Your role plays a key part in maintaining and improving the efficiency reliability and sustainability of our global facilities systems.

Offer Technical Support Direction and Expertise

• Provide consultation and assistance to Global Regional and Site Facilities and Manufacturing teams as the Technical Subject Matter Expert.
• Collaborate with internal partners including Global Facilities Site Facilities Global Env Sustainability SMAI IT TD Procurement Finance and Legal teams.
• Analyze system builds to identify improvements for performance efficiency and cost savings.
• Support sites with problem analysis using standard tools and methodologies.
• Benchmark internally and externally on Engineering Proven Approaches for Facilities buildings and systems.
• Maintain technical knowledge on industry standards guidelines trends and technological advances in your subject area.

Provide Build and Construction Project Support Leadership and Expertise

• Support global regional and site-level Construction project teams in developing new large-scale Facilities Infrastructure Expansion projects.
• Develop and maintain Microns global Design and Construction Standards and Specifications.
• Build system design concepts for Control System Architecture P&IDs Sequence of Operations and Functional Descriptions.
• Ensure project scopes meet customer needs and maintain communication with collaborators.
• Review build packages for compliance with standards codes and regulations.
• Monitor progress and support project cost and schedule estimates.
• Supervise and coordinate Consultant resources.
• Validate capacity planning databases and system operating trends.
• Lead capacity and scenario planning evaluations.

Offer assistance direction and proficiency in Global Initiatives Programs

• Develop and maintain O&M BKM focusing on Operations and Maintenance Reliability and Performance.
• Lead and define Global Facilities Programs & Initiatives setting objectives and implementation plans.
• Drive the Global Facilities Digitalization and SMART Facilities Programs in line with the goals of the company.
• Champion Global Facilities Sustainability Programs to support corporate sustainability initiatives.
• Collect and integrate Lessons Learned from global teams into Micron Global Standards and BKMs.
