Job Summary

Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree in Business Administration International Trade Logistics Accounting or related field.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in customs compliance and IMMEX program management.
  • In-depth knowledge of Mexican customs regulations IMMEX program requirements and import/export processes.
  • Experience with ERP systems and Annex 24/30 inventory management software and Excel.
  • Strong leadership organizational analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
  • Fluent in Spanish; English proficiency preferred

Key Responsibilities

  • Ensure accurate and timely preparation review and submission of customs documentation (pedimentos invoices certificates of origin COVE etc).
  • Maintain up-to-date records of all materials and assets imported according customs Law
  • Support to the Import/Export Manager to lead internal audits and prepare for external inspections by customs and regulatory authorities
  • Supervise and provide guidance to the import/export team
  • Coordinate with customs brokers freight forwarders and government agencies to resolve issues and ensure compliance.
  • Report operational metrics to I/E Manager
  • Develop and implement procedures to ensure compliance with IMMEX and Mexican customs regulations.
  • Collaborate with logistics and supply chain teams to ensure accurate tracking of inventory movements.
  • Collaborate with the IMMEX coordinator to ensure compliance relating import/export operations
