Part-Time Laboratory Support Technician

Position Overview

We are seeking a reliable detail-oriented Part-Time Laboratory Support Technician to assist daily operations in an FDA/GMP-regulated contract laboratory. This role focuses on laboratory glassware washing supply stocking and maintaining clean organized work areas to ensure laboratory readiness compliance and efficiency.

Essential Responsibilities

• Clean dry and store laboratory glassware using approved procedures and validated cleaning equipment.
• Inspect glassware for cleanliness residue damage or defects prior to release for use.
• Follow GMP safety and laboratory SOPs at all times.
• Maintain clean orderly and inspection-ready wash areas storage spaces and common laboratory areas.
• Stock laboratory supplies and consumables; alert supervision to low inventory levels.
• Properly segregate label and dispose of waste in accordance with laboratory safety procedures.
• Complete required logbooks cleaning records and documentation accurately and contemporaneously.
• Support laboratory inspections and audits by maintaining compliant and organized workspaces.
• Perform other laboratory support tasks as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED (college students encouraged to apply).
• Ability to follow written procedures and verbal instructions precisely.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to X lbs.
• Willingness to work in a laboratory environment with glassware and cleaning agents.

Preferred (Not Required) Qualifications

• Coursework or interest in science biology chemistry or related fields.
• Previous experience in a laboratory manufacturing food or healthcare setting.
• Familiarity with basic laboratory safety concepts (PPE chemical handling).
