Job Schedule:

What Youll Do:

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures site-specific policies and/or appropriate emergency response activities at a utilities location.
• Respond to incidents alarms and/or unusual conditions in a calm problem-solving manner and report details according to site protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of buildings grounds access points and perimeter areas to help identify and report suspicious activity and/or maintenance concerns.
• Monitor entry and exit activity verify credentials as required and communicate with site personnel and visitors regarding access procedures and location rules.
• Support daily operations by documenting security-related events completing routine reports and communicating relevant information to supervisors and/or local contacts.

Minimum Requirements:

• A minimum of 1 year of security-related experience is required.
• Proof of a high school diploma or GED is required by the client.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Must possess a guard card.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
